Tom's Weight Loss Journey

Hello, my name is Tom, I'm 22 years old and I'm from the United Kingdom. I was looking for some kind of message board where people log their progress and give each other advice and support, and this one seemed good to me.

My weight has fluctuated throughout my life, though it has been on a pretty sharp increase over the course of the last six years. Aged 16, at the same height I am currently, I weighed roughly 14st (196lbs). I wasn't happy with this at the time and thought I was very…

Looking for an 'Accountability' partner

I tend to get discouraged trying to lose weight on my own, so i decided to join a forum. And joining a forum is no help if i dont find a group of people that i can jump in with and be accountable to!:) So i am hoping to find such a group, or even a buddy, to help me stay on track and have a little healthy competition with. I am looking to lose 30 pounds and have started my macro counting and morning cardio, but haven't seen results yet as I just started this week. Anyone with me?:)

Uncharacteristic Drops

So I weigh myself every morning, and usually I consider a reading to be a fluke if it's greater than half a pound more or less than my weight the day before. Anyway, my weight yesterday was 114.2, but my weight this morning was apparently 113; I tried a different scale and that one said 113.4. Is a reading that dropped so low like that really an accurate one?

Newcomer after Advice

Hi
I'm new here and am after a bit of advice and guidance.
Firstly, I am a 34 year old male, and am 5ft 8in tall. About 4 years ago I topped the scales at 20st 4lbs (286lbs).
Over the next two and a half years I lost 6 and a half stone (94lbs) and got myself down to around 13st 11lbs ish.

I did this on a diet of weight watchers soup for lunch, which was around 99 calories and then a 500 calorie dinner in the evening, monday to Friday. I then ate and drank what I wanted on the weekend….

Breaking the habit of a lifetime!

I'm back.
Again.
Just like the time before, and the time before that.

I never keep anything up. I started a bullet journal this year. Lasted a week.
I started couch to 5k. Made it into week 2.

So I'm back but with reservations.
I don't believe I can keep it up.
But who knows, I might just surprise myself.

So here goes nothing.

I'm tracking on MFP. This I have done in the past successfully to an extent. I'm also taking on board a lot of slimming world concepts, such as replacing elements…

April Banks' Vlog

Day 1: 24th of June 2017:

Weight: 656 pounds.

Brunch:
1 banana, a boiled egg, 1 spoon of peanut butter, and 5 tomatoes.

Lunch:
Piece of watermelon, 3 oranges, and a glass of soy milk.

Exercise is moving my arms. I can't walk and my arms are heavy.

Irony is what I've done to myself is torture dieting and exercise also…

Bubbles: The Diary

I confess – I wasn't sure where to put the apostrophe and I couldn't stand the thought of it being wrong for the entire duration of the diary ("Bubbles' Diary"?).

— How much weight do you want to lose?

25 lb

— What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?

2 – 6 months

— How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?

Daily exercise (at least 1 hour), and learning how to eat in moderation again. No counting or dieting, but eating foods I know are…
